Onion Rings RecipeIngredients: 2 onions, sliced 1 / 4 inch thick 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup milk 1 / 4 cup panko breadcrumbs 2 tablespoons oatmeal 1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper 1 liter of vegetable oil, for frying
Method: In a skillet, heat the oil .*
Mix the flour, salt and pepper. Separate the onion rings and dip in dry flour mixture. Remove rings in flour and set aside.
Add milk, oats and baking powder to flour mixture. Dip onion rings into the mix. Leakage of each ring him out extra dough and dip into panko crumbs.
Fry the coated rings until golden brown. Mix a little mayonnaise Chile sauce and use as a sauce for the rings.
* Do I have a cooking thermometer, so that's how I eyeball the oil is hot enough, is heated by a drop of the mixture added up to the top almost immediately.
