Davies is Bride Daniel Mendivil, a freshman on the volleyball team at Arizona State University.
A family member had confirmed that it is Davies's girlfriend and she is not pregnant.
Brigham Young University announced Wednesday that Davies was dismissed from the team for violating the code of honor of the school. Later that night, it was revealed he was suspended after admitting having sex with Mendivil.
