Well the Dancing With The Stars winner is Hines Ward. While Hines may have fallen short of the Super Bowl championship earlier on in the year he didn’t leave DWTS empty handed.
Tuesday night the Pittsburgh Steelers player had fans cheering as he performed on the dance floor. The Dancing With The Stars winner “samba-ed” his way to the victory of DWTS season 12. This means that he beat out finalists Kirstie Alley and Chelsea Kane.
Hines said that he never thought that he would make it to the finals when he started the competition and that he owed it all to Kym who is the “most amazing teacher.”
It was on “personal story” week when Hines performed the high-energy samba. He dedicated his dance to his mother which was proudly sitting in the front row of the audience during the finale dances.
The judges had plenty of great things to say about Hines:
“Hines, in all honestly, you’re the MVP of ‘Dancing with the Stars,’” judge Carrie Ann praised brilliantly. “…you really dance with heart.”
“You’re a killer when you play your sport, and a charming dazzler on the dance floor,” Bruno said with passion. “We all fall in love.”
