Stephen Amell Play Role of Joran Van Der Sloot In Justice For Natalee Holloway

Actor Stephen Amell of The Vampire Diaries takes on the challenging role of playing murder suspect Joran van der Sloot in Justice for Natalee Holloway, the follow up to the original Lifetime movie Natalee Holloway. With actress Tracy Pollan is back in the role of Beth Holloway, also starring Grant Show, Stephen Amell and Scott Cohen, Justice for Natalee Holloway closes in on the ongoing mystery of what exactly happened to the Alabama teenager who in 2005 mysteriously disappeared during her senior class trip to Aruba. For Stephen Amell, getting the chance to play Joran van der Sloot was a professional challenge that actors live for that came with heavy expectations given the reality of what happened to Natalee Holloway.
In the latest Lifetime movie about Natalee Holloway, Stephen Amell plays Joran van der Sloot, one of the last persons to see her alive, who continues to torment her grieving mother Beth four years later by providing false information about Natalee’s fate, yet denying any responsibility for what happened to her. Growing more arrogant about his professed innocence and finding himself increasingly in debt as his life and gambling habits spiral out of control, Joran van der Sloot does the unthinkable by demanding $250,000 from Beth to reveal the exact location of Natalee's remains. Intent on bringing her daughter’s alleged murderer to justice, Beth once again partners with the FBI and other authorities to find and arrest him. Before they can, the new Lifetime follow up takes another twisted turn out of the pages of real life.
